Easy POS is a cash register in the browser. Staff sign in with a PIN, scroll the catalog, take cash, and the sale becomes a paid Shopify order with the order number on the screen. You choose which collections appear and you name the pickup desk. It is in the studio and not on the App Store. Free, Pro at $9.99 a month, and Advanced at $24.99 a month are configured in the app. They are not a listing.
Everything you need
Staff PIN
Each person gets a 4-digit PIN. It opens the register and nothing else. The Shopify admin password will not sign in.
Sell in the browser
Open the register on a phone, tablet, or laptop you already have. There is no separate terminal to buy.
Scroll the catalog
Staff scroll collections, then the products inside one. The register does not put the whole catalog on screen at once.
Cash becomes an order
Enter the cash, see the change, and the sale is created as a paid Shopify order, fulfilled as an in-store pickup.

When the sale completes, the register shows the Shopify order number.
Collections and pickup
Choose which collections appear, hide empty ones, and name the pickup desk. Leave the list empty to show every collection.

What changed
Easy POS is still in the studio, so these notes describe the build in progress rather than an App Store release.
Adding staff follows the plan in the app
- The Free tier configured in the app cannot add a new staff member.
- Pro and Advanced, also only in the app config, can. They are not an App Store listing.
- Someone already on the list can still be edited or deactivated.
The Shopify order number on the sale
- After a cash sale, the register shows the Shopify order number.
- Two staff members in the same shop cannot share a PIN.

- Staff scroll collections and products. The register does not load the whole catalog at once.
- Choose which collections appear, hide empty ones, and name the pickup desk.

Frequently asked questions
Is Easy POS on the App Store? +
No. It is in the studio. There is no install button and no App Store charge. Write to XCO if you want it on a shop.
Does this replace Shopify POS? +
No. It is a register in the browser for cash sales. It is not the Shopify POS app, and it does not take cards.
What happens to a cash sale? +
It becomes a paid Shopify order, fulfilled as an in-store pickup. The register shows the order number. The order stays in Shopify admin.
How do staff sign in? +
With the 4-digit PIN from Staff in the admin. Two people in the same shop cannot share a PIN. Deactivating someone blocks that PIN. Adding a new person is the only plan check in the app: Free cannot, and Pro and Advanced can. Those tiers are not a listing.
Can I choose what the register shows? +
Yes. Name the pickup desk, pick collections, and hide empty ones. Leave the collection list empty to show them all. Staff scroll the catalog from there.
What do Free, $9.99, and $24.99 mean? +
They are the Free, Pro, and Advanced tiers configured in the app. They are not an App Store listing, and Easy POS cannot bill them from the App Store.
The catalog is slow. +
Scroll through it. The register does not load every product before you can sell.
Staff cannot sign in. +
Check the PIN and that the staff member was added. A PIN is required.
Staff see products from the wrong collection. +
Change the collections selected for the register, then sign in again.
Where is the order after the sale? +
In Shopify, under the order number shown on the register. The sale is a Shopify order.
Two people are sharing one PIN. +
Add each person and give each a PIN. A shared PIN does not tell you who sold.
The PIN is rejected. +
Confirm the staff member was saved, then sign in again. The register does not use the Shopify staff password.
