On any online-store page you choose in the theme editor, including a floating button. A signed-in customer can also see what they hold. Checkout is on the Business plan, for Shopify Plus stores.

Can customers check a balance at checkout? +
Yes, on the Business plan. A Shopify Plus store adds the checker in the checkout editor so a shopper sees the balance and can apply the card.

Can I manage store credit and discount codes? +
Yes, and only if you turn them on. Gift cards are always available. Store credit and discounts stay off until you enable them. Advanced can turn one of them on. Business can turn both on.
Does it work with Shopify Flow? +
Yes, on the Business plan. A workflow can issue a gift card, issue store credit, or assign a discount code. The store-credit and discount actions run only when that option is turned on.
Can a shopper see someone else's card? +
They need the code. Do not publish codes in a page, a menu, or an email that other people can open.
I only want balances. Do I have to turn on store credit? +
No. Store credit and discount codes stay off until you enable them.
